Our dance classes
At Kim Marie's School of Dance, we offer a range of ballet classes designed to ignite a love for dance in every child, from preschool through to early teenage years. Our programmes are structured to provide a natural progression as your child grows, ensuring they develop technique, confidence, and creativity in a supportive environment.
Tiny twirls (2- 3 years)
Our signature preschool programme, Tiny Twirls, is a magical introduction to ballet for our youngest dancers. Through imaginative play, music, and movement, children develop fundamental motor skills, coordination, and an early appreciation for dance. It's a joyful and nurturing space where little ones can discover the wonder of ballet.
Junior ballet (4 - 13years)
Building on the foundations of Tiny Twirls, our Junior Ballet classes introduce more structured ballet techniques while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere. Students learn basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology, developing their strength, flexibility, and musicality. We focus on fostering a positive learning experience and encouraging self-expression.
Intermediate ballet
For our Intermediate Ballet dancers, classes delve deeper into classical ballet technique. Students refine their alignment, poise, and artistry, exploring more complex combinations and movements. We continue to nurture their passion for dance, building resilience and discipline in a supportive and encouraging setting.
Senior ballet
Our Senior Ballet programme is designed for older students ready to further their ballet journey. These classes focus on advanced technique, performance quality, and developing a deeper understanding of classical ballet repertoire. Students are challenged to grow as dancers, fostering their artistic expression and preparing them for continued excellence in dance.
